Simucase named among 2021 Best Small & Medium Workplaces by Fortune and Great Place to Work
Great Place to Work® and Fortune magazine have honored Simucase as one of the 2021 Best Small & Medium Workplaces™.
This is the first time for Simucase to be named to this list after becoming a Great Place to Work-Certified™ organization earlier this year.
The Best Small & Medium Workplaces award is based on analysis of survey responses from more than 280,000 current employees of U.S. companies. In that survey, 100% of Simucase team members said the company is a great place to work. At a typical U.S. company, only 59% of employees say the same.
“We are extremely proud to be named to this prestigious list, which recognizes the best companies to work for in the country,” said Simucase CEO Stacy Williams. “Our small but mighty team works tirelessly to provide the best simulation learning opportunities for students in fast-paced, ever-changing healthcare professions. Being recognized on this list further illustrates our team members’ commitment to each other and those we serve, and we celebrate and thank them for all they do.”
The Best Small & Medium Workplaces list is highly competitive. Great Place to Work, the global authority on workplace culture, selected the list using rigorous analytics and confidential employee feedback. Companies were only considered if they are a Great Place to Work-Certified™ organization.
“These companies may be small in size, but their impact and commitment to improving employee experience stacks up against some of the world’s largest corporations,” said Michael C. Bush, CEO of Great Place to Work®. “Their ability to scale business while maintaining a high level of employee care is nothing short of amazing. A job well done to the Best Small & Medium Workplaces.”
Great Place to Work is the only company culture award in America that selects winners based on how fairly employees are treated. Companies are assessed on how well they are creating a great employee experience that cuts across race, gender, age, disability status, or any aspect of who employees are or what their role is.
“Throughout our organization, we keep culture at the forefront of all we do and attribute the organization’s success to this philosophy,” said Asher Primrose, HR Director and 2020 For All Leader recipient. “We are excited to celebrate this well-deserved honor for Simucase, which affirms what we’ve always known—Simucase is a truly special place to work with a team of dedicated and caring people.”
As a 100% virtual organization since its inception, Simucase has prioritized workplace culture since day one. In recent years, Simucase has enhanced its culture in many ways, including: a robust wellness program with an annual stipend; health coaching; a company-provided fitness tracker; diversity initiatives; “best in class” channels to connect in a virtual environment; flexible holidays and paid time off programs; a company book club; and charitable gift matching.
